Monday, July 31, 2023:

Calvert Crossland recently visited the proposed site at Queenstown Two along with a team of environmental consultants to discuss and map out the best location for the tower.

Saturday, March 9, 2024:

To demonstrate the visual impact of a telecommunications tower, on Saturday, March 9th, a balloon fly will take place near the proposed new tower location from 10 AM to 1 PM.  Please feel free to join us at 6624 Friel Road in the Trident Marine parking lot, where members of our team will be on hand to answer any questions. If the weather prevents a successful test from happening, we have selected Sunday, March 10th as our “rain date.”

Saturday, March 9, 2024:

The balloon fly has been cancelled this weekend and will be rescheduled. Check back here next week for the new date.

Sunday, March 17, 2024:

The balloon fly has been rescheduled for April 6, 2024 with a rain date of April 7, 2024. Same time and place as listed above.

Friday, April 5, 2024:

The balloon fly has been cancelled this weekend and will be rescheduled due to wind. Check back here next week for the new date. (Obviously, April is a tough time to do a balloon fly!)
